Shoreline Monitoring at Haven's Beach, VA: Tracking Coastal Changes

Since July 1, 2024, Earth System Management, LLC has been monitoring the shoreline conditions at Haven’s Beach, VA, to document changes before and after the beach reconstruction. Our initial assessment took place before the restoration, while our second visit on March 24, 2025, provided insights just days after the project was completed.
With regular monitoring planned for the fall of 2025, we aim to track how the shoreline evolves following the restoration. This ongoing evaluation will help us assess the effectiveness of the beach stabilization efforts and guide future coastal management decisions.
